1) Will be positive, supportive and ethical in your actions to each and every person (players, coaches, other spectators) on your team as well all individuals on the opposing team.
2) Will understand and accept the fact that the coaches, and only the coaches, determine positions and playing times.
3) Will discuss questions about games and training with coaches after, and not during, games and practices; coaches may request a “cooling off” period between the completion of a game and game discussion.
4) Will not attempt to “coach” players from the sidelines, because players must listen to their coaches and their instructions.
5) Will learn the rules of the game to better understand decisions of the coaches and game officials.
6) Will appreciate the time and energies donated by the team manager and team representatives, and cooperate with their requests.
7) Will follow the communication guidelines set out by the Club, that is:
- A: Contact the managers with non-game questions, i.e. paperwork, deadlines, etc.
- B: Contact the coaches with questions relating to the game, the player’s status on the team, etc., unless otherwise instructed by the coach.
- C: Contact the Director of Coaching only after attempts to resolve questions with the team coaches have been unsuccessful.
8) Will set a positive example for the players by respecting game officials and accepting their decisions, whether they are agreed with or not. Encourage fair play, good sportsmanship, competitive play, and cheering instead of yelling. (A parent acting-out in a foul or abusive manner during any game can also be ejected from the field with a red card resulting in a send off penalty against the team as well as a personal suspension and a possible fine pending a hearing from their respective League A&D Committee).
9) Will refrain from: questioning, criticizing or abusing officials, taunting or booing players or officials, using profanity or degrading gestures, coaching from the sideline.
10) Will pay my child’s dues on time to ensure he/she is eligible to play.

NOTE: In competitive soccer, if any “non-player”, i.e. parent, friend, etc. is asked to leave the sidelines by the referee due to misbehavior, verbal or otherwise, and does not comply the COACH may then be instructed to leave – leaving the team without a coach during the game.
Failure to comply with the above may result in disciplinary action including but not limited to a fine. If a fine is imposed and is not timely paid by the due date, further sanctions may result including suspension from the team or club. Removal from the club will not alleviate any outstanding financial obligations owed to FC Dallas Youth.

In exchange for the license and privilege of access to and/or participation in this event or activity, the undersigned hereby forever releases, holds harmless, waives, discharges, and indemnifies the FC Dallas Soccer Club™, FC Dallas Soccer, LLC, Frisco Stadium, LLC, Major League Soccer, L.L.C., FCD Youth, LLC, FC Dallas Foundation, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, representatives, sponsors, shareholders, partners, employees, and members (collectively, the “FCD Parties”) from and against any and all liabilities, debts, obligations, costs, expenses, damages, judgments, liens, claims, and demands of any nature or description, in equity or at law, that the undersigned (or his or her heirs or personal representatives) may now have, acquire, own, or hold, or at any time heretofore owned or held, or could or may hereafter own, acquire, or hold against any one or more FCD Parties, known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, asserted or not, arising out of participation by the undersigned in events or activities conducted by any one or more of the FCD Parties even if the risks and liabilities that the undersigned is releasing arise out of the negligence or carelessness of one or more of the FCD Parties (collectively, the “Released Claims”). This release is specifically intended to be binding on all of the undersigned’s heirs and assigns. The undersigned admits the possibility that the undersigned or his or her successors may not fully know the number or magnitude of all Released Claims, but nevertheless intends to assume all risks by releasing such unknown claims, and agrees that this release is a full and final release and wavier of all Released Claims. The undersigned expressly waives the benefit of any statutory or other provision that creates any exception to the foregoing General Release, Waiver, and Authorization.

To pay my child's FC Dallas Youth club fees and understand that there are no refunds, credits or reductions to the payment plan; that the payments must be received by FC Dallas Youth no later than the agreed upon due date. That if I have not selected to pay in full under Option A (above) I must sign and agree to a promissory note for the full value of any and all payment amounts outstanding to FC Dallas Youth before my player will be eligible to participate. FC Dallas Youth follows a "NO PAY, NO PLAY" policy; which means that a failure to pay as agreed herein may result in the player not being permitted to play. The player will not be allowed to participate with his/her club team until such time that their account is brought current. This includes any penalties in the form of late fees assessed by the Club at its discretion. The coach's pay will be docked the pro rata share of the dues attributable to his/her pay by lack of sufficient funds from the aforementioned player until such time that their account is brought current including any penalties in the form of late fees that may be determined. Failure to pay may result in assigning that portion of unpaid debt to a collections agency to collect on behalf of the Club or Coach. The Club has committed to your child for the entire year and we expect the same commitment from you and your child. We do understand that from time to time situations do arise in which player releases will be requested, however, the Club is not required to approve a release or transfer. All Players are required to fulfill their financial obligations to FCDY regardless of any circumstance.
